Rubinacci has some of the most beautiful pocket squares I've seen. They never fail to inspire.

I ordered from the eShop about a week ago.  The ties shipped promptly, and look fantastic.

One problem: They got my order wrong.  One tie I received was the wrong color combination, and one was missing from the shipment altogether.  Anybody have any experience with eShop follow-up/customer service?  I sent them an e-mail detailing the issue, but I'm hoping language barrier isn't an issue.  Are my concerns unfounded?

My experience with the eshop was pretty lousy. I was interested in a cashmere sportscoat, I emailed them a few times regarding size but no reply. I still ordered my regular size and surprise the coat was not 100% cashmere as announced but only 30%!

I contacted them again about this and no reply! I finally contacted Lucca via his Facebook page and the reply was more or less "thanks for the headsup its an error on our website and we'll make the change" not the reply I was asking for!

I finally got a mail from Marcella Rubinacci offering a refund. I decided to keep the jacket just because it was so nice but was hopping for some kind of gesture like their book once I hinted about it :-) but did't get even an appology!

Anyway if you don't hear back from them send me a PM and I'll give you Marcella Rubinacci's mail.

Sorley knit ties vs Rubinacci knit ties. Same quality level?

I have some rubi knits and they are impeccably woven, but some are longer than "standard", and I did not realize that when buying them

Oh okay. Do someone here have info about the Sorley knit-ties from The Armoury?

I appreciate the heads-up.  Sorry to hear that your experience with them was less than stellar.

I'll give them 'til the end of the week to get back to me.  If that fails, I'll take you up on that e-mail address offer.  Thanks again.

Here is a report from the new Rubinacci location in Naples, Mariano opened the cloth safe for us where all the vintage fabrics are stored...
Apart from that, you may also be interested in our article about Neapolitan Style.

My invitation to the (re)opening of the London store arrived today.

Anyone else going?

So which SF member was in Rubinacci London today talking about mafoofan?
That was Matt Fan.

He was talking about mafoofan, but it wasn't mafoofan.
