Damnit. I turned on that game to see if he was playing, but gave up after a while and headed out. Crap. Glad he looked though.

+1

This is good. Hopefully he gets enough time to get into a rhythm and do some damage.

Eduardo is a disgrace for that dive...he should be banned and is lucky one of the Celtic players didn't lunge at him...that early penalty changed the whole game.

I just read that Robben might be going to Bayern. Is that right? That'd be sad. I like him a lot and wish he'd stay at RM.

Apparently, they're close. Robben to Bayern for 25M euro. The move as I understand it is to make way for a Ribery transfer that won't happen until next year. Dumb move by RM IMO, since they're slowly but surely selling away all of their depth. The scary thing about RM at the time was not their starting lineup of douches but just how many douches they had sitting on the bench that could do some damage. A lot of that is gone now. <------ Yay for us!

Romafan, what do you think about Roma getting rid of Spalletti? I'm not sure if he was the one to blame for their poor results.

He's gone?!

* You sir are correct! Article said he tendered his resignation & the club accepted. He is a widely respected and (supposedly) much sought-after tactician, and I don't think he's altogether responsible for for their ongoing problems. That being said, 'the buck stops here'. I just hope Ranieri can turn things around, and we don't revisit the period after Capello left

Yeah, it's in the news. Being replaced by Rainieri. Really can't see how that's a good move.
