Jeans-- need help picking out jeans

Thread Starter
I don't think I can wear my diesel Kratt jeans much more, as they are looking a little tight (size 32/ 32).  Shame, too, because they are in perfect condition. I've narrowed it down to these choices, and I get $74 off any paypal purchase-- any recommendations?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....40&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....03&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....MEWA:IT thanks in advance for your advice/ recommendations.

Foxx, there are lots of Rabox and Kratt jeans at Smartbargains for similar prices and your size.  Why don't go check those first?  Most Diesel jeans on Ebay are fake, and the GTO's are cool, but over priced right now.

The second pair of Diesels look pretty bad, even if they're authentic, and they don't look like it. For the price of those GTOs, you might as well as buy them at retail from a reputable site like Active Endeavors or GoClothing. For either site, I think SHOPETC gives you 30 percent off.

Have you checked your local Last Call/Off 5th/Nordstrom Rack/whatever? It shouldn't be too hard to find Diesels or some similarly nice brand (True Religion, Blue Cult, PDC, whatever style you're looking for) at more palatable prices. I think I might still have a NWT PDC Mythos Twist in 33 if you're interested in something that's a not a GTO cut.

How do you get the SHOPETC coupons? Can you post it?
For GoClothing, type SHOPTETC in the coupon codes field. For Revolve Clothing, it's GOSHOPETC. Made a mistake--it doesn't apply to Active Endeavors. I remember finding the codes while googling last month.

Yeah, $180 or whatever is full retail for PDCs... you can find them at Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, Off 5th etc for $40-80 usually, sometimes they are from past seasons, which is actually probably better in terms of durability. You can usually find PDCs on ebay for about $60. I haven't really seen any PDC fakes online yet.

Nice. the GTO 1-years can be had for $113 if that code is 30% off. That's a nice deal.

I just bought that pair of GTO 1-years (size 33), but they haven't been able to locate them in the warehouse yet (wierd - do they really just have 1 pair?) Seeinbg how hard 1 years are to come by at discount, I thought it was a pretty fair deal.

I dunno. I've always been suspicious of these Rippers and these Metro 3s. There were (and still are) a flood of them, starting at $.99, which just seems fishy. Even if they're real, it's frustrating finding mostly Rippers in your size on eBay, since I think they're the nastiest PDC wash yet.

BTW, Foxx, for PDC, you're probably going to want the size 32 (unless you like them to hang real loose mid hip - which I sort of do). The Diesels you'll want at 33/32.

The Rippers, etc.. are for reall. Getting a decent wash on Ebay is the difficult thing.

Hmm, the labeling looks close, but they cut out the item code in the waistband label, weird... you'd have to see one up close to know if it's real or not I guess.

Seconds and/or overstocks. That's why they black out the number as well.

Lots of Diesels <$100 on Yoox as well. Check there, and you can be certain that they are not fakes.
