How does versace couture compare to RLPL, Armani classico, Borrelli, Kiton etc? Also how does Barbera and lsaia compare with Kiton and oxxford? Thanks in advance.

Isaia is the cheapest, and (probably) best value out of those.

For near Borrelli like quality but a much lower price, try Sartoria Partenopea.

They do make a nice coat, comparable to Barbera quality, IMO. Where did you see it??

So l take it that Barbera and lsaia are of less quality than Kiton and Oxxford. Again, would the Gianni Versace couture line suits be of equal quality to Armani Classico, RLPL, Borrelli, Kiton.

Boys, boys , boys, all conjecture.  Throwing the names of labels around like you're talking about cars.  Why is it that Amercian men find it so natural to reduce every subject to a pissing contest?

Because there are discernable differences between these "labels". koji

Non no, you don't get off that easily. Address the question, koji, or keep your fingers off the keyboard. The questions was, Why is it that Amercian men find it so natural to reduce every subject to a pissing contest?

l'm starting to develop a luxury trouser fetish started by our beloved Dr Brecsh. l want to buy Barbera, lsaia and Oxxford trousers.  l will scan ebay and wait for a good deal. l now have 2 fetishes. 1. A shoo fetish. 2.A trouser fetish.   l must admit to being very curious about St Andrews as well. How do St Andrews compare with the suits l have mentioned?

At a place in Holland, they have a nice collection. Building up from their housebrand suits to Caruso, Partenopea and finally in the upper price range, Kiton. Shirts from Ign. Joseph, Barba di Napoli and Finamore. Shoes by Santoni. But I doubt this place will be interesting for the majority on this board.

Or maybe we should discuss why you feel the need to hijack this thread by posting this supercilious garbage. Koji's answer was perfectly appropriate, your inability to recognize that fact notwithstanding. Perhaps you ought to keep your hands off the keyboard if that's the best you can come up with.

There's no "conjecture" that, for example, some people prefer the soft shoulder of the neapolitans (Isaia, Kiton) and others the styling of Armani classico, etc. I'm sure there are certain people out there (and Americans are NOT the only offenders) who purchase simply by label recognition, but the vast majority of the people on this board, I would venture, do not. koji

That's the best you can do? Why don't you run along and find someone else's picture to steal for your avatar. I imagine that Stacy is getting a bit pissed that you're using hers.
