I'm looking for the best basic black tees. So far the best one I've found is from Corpus -- it's got one chest pocket and is so soft and perfectly fitted.

My list...

Corpus -- the best. Ran me 60
Florence & Avenzino -- long and soft. 40
James Perse -- pretty good. 25

i can't believe someone would pay $60 for a plain black tee considering they cost about $1.50 or less to make and that's for organic cotton or bamboo produced in japan. this is the one time i must shake my head in shame, i posted in the other tee thread on how to obtain the same organic cotton/bamboo tees for less than $5 a shirt. they weigh almost 3oz. and are the softest tees i've ever owned and because they're 70% bamboo they are durable as hell too. i just hate seeing people waste their money on **** like this because of the brand's name is screen printed (and only one hit of ink too) on the inside collar...

Guy comes in..... First post... a simple question that's been answered ad nauseum, and nobody tells him to **** off and do a search? I'm proud of you, SF.

I just wear 2(x)ist, I guess their considered an undershirt instead of a stand-alone t-shirt but it works.
