summer time-shoes-no socks=stink

what do you guys do? the shoes i wear there is no way of wearing socks that arent noticable, and i like the no sock look. but my feet always end up smelling even when i put foot powder. what do you guys do? any ancient chinese secrets?

My feet used to smell when doing this... not much though... and as I kept doing it they stopped smelling.

Also, canvas shoes breath very well. And they are awesome for summer casual.

to be very honest, it is quite disgusting, no matter how awesome it looks, i am sure you have other choices to make yourself look awesome, just you dont try them

but i think it increases my awesomness. i really dont want to start wearing socks with summer shoes. there has to be a better way!!

Awesomeness is defined by the ability to not wear socks, period. Its a known fact of the universe. Just keep doing it and see if the smell goes away...

The alternative of wearing socks with boat shoes, canvas sneakers, drivers etc just doesn't work.

What about the socks that only come up about halfway up the foot on the top and barely go past your heel in the back? I wear vans with those and you can't see them at all.

yea im wearing the jv x conv. really low slip ons. would they show? i cant imagine socks being that low.

I've never used this, but it seems cheap enough to try:

I do use the underarm crystal, and it works pretty well at controlling odor.
