I tried a few but decided against to keep it clean, was going to put a black and white polka dot in.

It sounds like I should be shot but in some ways I prefer it (and I have both) it's a bit heavier which I like, not as smooth but it feels more comfortable and wearable as an everyday cloth.

Tonik currently is only available in midnight blue and black which is crazy but the 2000 range has been greatly expanded and there's a nice new silk and mohair range as well.

I did a video review of Dormeuil's current mohair book but montauk is taking his time putting it together wink.gif

I would agree with David's assessment. I have the tonik done up as a tuxedo and the tonik 2000 as a 3 piece. The tonik is a bit stiff and not exactly comfortable to lounge around in.

Thanks. Did you guys do full lining on the 2000? Quarter lined?

Fully lined, I like my dressy suits to have a clean back. Also, the tonik 2000 isn't as porous as the tonik so I'm not sure it really matters if it's quarter lined.

Dormeuil Tonik 2000 cloth. First person that says the sleeve length isn't symmetrical gets an eye roll.

Amazing .. What would be the cost for such a 2 piece suit with regular wool fabric - If you don't me asking?

Edit: Just found out by reading a F.A.Q ..

Fully lined, I'd consider it too heavy to bother half lining.

That's the Revenge, my Grandpa served on it in WW2 as the (or a) chief stoker. This is an older picture of it circa First World War when it was top of the line, by the time of the second it was quite dated but she made it through both world wars.

He's not exactly subtle. Too many pastel colours for my liking.

Hmm, each to their own liking. The colors are one of the things I love most about his style.
