Sorry for the extra "like" haha. Now I need to find a good tailor, cause the ones that are making the other blazer are not that good at all.

That look is more ''fashion'' then traditional way to use a db jacket. As you can see from his outfit...

I like this very much also. Great color too. An unusual shade of blue I can't recall having seen before. One can tell by this alone it is a quality garment.
We take color for granted, but the difficulty in obtaining fine colors in fabrics of sorts is much of their value. The dyeing process is also an are not given its due.

I also like how it seems many contemporary db jackets are bringing the buttons higher towards the chest. Gives the jackets a casual aire to them and usability as a blazer, and allows the jackets to be shortened therefore.

The early q on "balance" btw the 4 & 6 button had the traditional length.
I should hv added that my preference for the 4 as a contemporary and casual alternative would have required raising the buttons to compress the chest and shorten the jacket length.

Yeah, seems a bit tight to some, but I think it's perfect.
Anyway...note to self..
Kind regards

While you are at it - get a cream linen DB jacket too.

I got this one from Montedoro, similar styling and sick as hell! Got it at last call for under a hundo, can't wait for S/S to rock it. And the working button holes actually fit my arms perfect off the rack for a fashion forward piece!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Something like this?

One jacket like that would be awesome. Yes, yes I will get one of those. Or maybe something like this next photo, but double breasted, could work right?
