I would strongly recommend desert wines. A decent bar -- eg good restaraunt or hotel -- will have a decent selection. Like many women, she might like her drinks sweeter and less acoholic.

I am a big fan of desert wines, personally, but not a fan of them for cocktails -- but if someone (e.g. my wife) digs them, more power to them

depending where you go, consider sauternes, vin santos, ice wines

Champagne with Saint Germain elderflower liqueur is a great "cocktail" as well.

Yeah I was going to suggest the chocolate route (which when you think about it is, is also your objective according to the tags ) Q Bar here makes an awesome chocolate martini that I have seen a bunch of girls try-n-love.

My only contribution is a simple concoction I came up with a long time ago: tall glass with ice 1 heaping tablespoon FCOJ (orange juice concentrate) 1 "quantity" vodka fill glass with tonic water garnish with whatever is lying around (cherry, lime, olives, celery, whatever) Dubbed the "Jedi Mind Shit" it has the notable qualities, highly valued in a dorm, of both glowing under a blacklight, and totally disguising almost any amount of vodka. We made this with 4 shots of vodka (more than half the glassful) and there was almost no alcohol taste at all. Not to be used for purposes of evil.

Another college drunk: the hit-and-run

1 part banana liqueur
1 part rum
1 part pineapple juice
1 parts hawaiian punch
2 parts tonic water or sprite

blue curacao if you like.

Interesting and scarier version of J's "Jedi Mind Shit".

Take 1 can of concentrated lemonade and add it to a pitcher
Fill the empty can with Everclear and add to pitcher
Then add three bottles of cheap beer
Stir and get drunk quickly.

^Substituting something for the Everclear (I can't remember what it was we put in) results in an absolutely mind-numbing concoction we called Skip and Go Naked. I can personally attest to the inhibition-lowering qualities.
