Bitters - In What?

I just got some Angostura Bitters on sale and thought I'd ask the local cocktail experts in what drinks I ought to put them. Only time I consciously had some was as an ingredient in a Manhattan in an Oxford bar. Best Manhattan I've had. So, without further ado - how much do I put in which drinks??!

When I was in Barbados they put it in everything and they put a lot. I put it in all my fruity drinks and it adds a nice spicy flavor.

Put in as much as you like in whatever you like. It's like hot sauce--you can enjoy it with most anything if you like the taste of it.

They should go in an old-fashioned.

Few drops in gin = pink gin.

It used to be that every cocktail made by a bartender had a drop or two of bitters, even martinis had orange bitters in them. Use the bitters in any cocktail that you like. A cocktail that I really like this time of year is a Pegu: 1.5 oz gin, 1/2 oz Cointreau, 1/2 oz fresh lime juice, 2 dashes Angustora. Stir with ice and strain into a martini glass with a twist or slice of lime if you want to get fancy.

Chilled Potato vodka (Monopolova) and about half a dozen drops makes a nice stiff drink.

I just bought some blood orange bitters. Gives a nice edge over Angostura.
