For those who work out for a variety of reasons, staying in shape, health, building strength/muscle, narcissistic reasons, athletic training and conditioning, etc...

Depends on what you mean by "workout."

I play basketball for 2+ hours 3-4 times a week. I ride my bike to and from work everyday. I play indoor soccer 3 times a week and starting next week, i'll play outdoor once a week. As far as lifting goes, I don't do it at all really, although I really should start.

that is a good workout. then you should vote 4-5 days a week cardio only

I do something like 3 days per week, mainly weights, but I toss in the occasional cardio day (once per week)

I run between 2 and 6 miles 4-5 times a week and do (very) light weight lifting anywhere between 2-6 times a week.

normally do 3 days a week on weights. and hit the bike a few days a week, or the stationary bike at my house.

s/s, 2 a days. bodypart/cardio a.m., bodypart/cardio p.m.

f/w 4 days lifting, 3 days cardio

Depends on my routine, but 3-4 times a week. 3 times is when I'm lifting heavy (3-5 reps/set), and 4 times when I'm going more for size (4-8 reps/set)

Your body needs rest. Be sure to give it some time off, or you'll negate any gains and look like a little girly man.

I would like to got 6 times a week but its closer to 4 I suspect. I normally do some light cardio before and after weight days just to warm up and down. And I like to do cardio days aswell. Nothing to special but its a nice break from life when you get inside the gym.
