I kept hitting refresh on that auction.  The price jumped by about $190 in the last 20 seconds or so.

CRAP. I bid $1300 no dice

zjpj: did you win the shoes? l've been watching the aution. Who ever bid $1,835 deserves to win them. The RLPL shoes wouldn't be worth much more.
nope, didn't win
Considering the initial consensus on this site, as being ugly shoes; they haven't done too badly.

Here we go again For those who missed out on the last auction . . .

This seller is nuts. how does he make any money? I know his volume is huge, but some of his hugely expensive shoes sell for nothing. After being alerted to Gators, I checked out his other stuff. Especially the women's RLPL stuff sells for nothing. My sister got $400 brand new shoes for $22.50. And another for $57.

He's probably selling them on commission/consignement regardless of final prices. He claims this pair are Edward Green, but I don't think so.  Definitely not, stitched aloft, simpler nail pattern on heel.  Nevertheless, they're nice.  The question is who made this pair?  C&J? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....92&rd=1
post #56 of 61
Yeah, he has a bunch of C&Js listed as EGs. I sent them a friendly email telling them of the mistakes.

There's also the rather blatant "Polo" inscription on the exposed sole...

l won the RLPL $5,000 gators in size 7.5. Yes, l am so happy.       Tried voting on the RLPL slippers but l got done every time. l voted on two pairs with 10 seconds to spare and still got done by $2.50. lt serves myself right though. l wasn't prepared to pay anymore than $160 though. By for now my dear friends. Regards: shooman.

Marc, please don't tell me you won this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....50&rd=1 If you did, do not, I repeat, DO NOT send any money. The chance of it being real is less than winning a lottery.
