Doesn't beat Bennies. Been meaning to ask you: How do we know that you're, well, you? I can't help wondering, when I see that rather provocative avatar picture, whether in actuality Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons is posting... Is there a way you could post a Member Picture, say with some sort of sign, so that we know you're you, or at least that you have a hot friend?

Great prices for Grenson, if you did not know what you are buying. they have only a couple of Masterpiece line shoes, and they are $547....not quite a good price....but thanks for the picture link.

With my browser, if you, ahem, move your mouse over the avatar, and do a right click, I get an option to "view image." Selecting that gives a better picture, not distorted to fit into the avatar square. Doing a "save image as " gives a default name of "sandy2..." but of course that doesn't mean much at all. I'm using mozilla, probably the same options are availabel in IE (or "view page info" generally gets the same kind of info).

I have a theory our Alexis is in fact a gay man, vicariously, and perhaps gleefully enjoying the admiration of a number of our esteemed colleagues. Not that there's anything wrong with it (the ruse, or being gay)--in fact I think its fun. Besides, whose avatar would you rather look at, his/hers or mine? Top 4 Reasons why Alexis is not...Alexis: 4) Never any personal disclosure, even regarding clothing purchases. 3) Too much knowledge of men's clothing (unless she is in the business). 2) Too much interest in men's clothing (see above). 1) Too young and too hot to be hanging around here with a bunch of old clothing fetishists (granted, there are some younger studs among us).

It sounds like the Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons is asking. Not an unreasonable request, but forum members are, I think, entitled to their anonymity. Could you provide us with some ID verification yourself, Mr. Chairman?

Funny that Kaga would be the one to ask the question about identity.

You don't think "Kaga" really is Kitchen Stadium Chairman? Maybe Kaga and Alexis are in cahoots? Hmmm....

Funny how "Kaga' sounds like "Kalra"... Coincidence? Or could it be... Avnish "Kaga"? P.S. In honor of AJL's Alexis theory, I have changed my avatar.

That would make all regulars here gays.

Am I the only one who found this thread a bit disturbing?

If it is in fact someone who resembles the Comic shop guy in the Simpsons, then that avatar is the "worst misrepresentation ever."

It seems to me that we ought be evaluating the post based on the nature of the post itself and not the nature of the poster. Alexis's posts have, for the most part, been at least as interesting and/or informative as those of many of us who post. It is irrelevant whether Alexis is the person represented by the photo or not. Gee, most of those who use avatars are not using self-portraits. Can we just keep the focus on the merits of the posts re: clothing?
