Good barber/hair place in Toronto - Page 3

Blood and Bandages at College and Dovercourt is by far the best experience I've had with a barber in Toronto. 2 dudes, 2 chairs, ~100 square foot shop, Miles Davis on the speakers and vintage Playboys lying around. IIRC, it was only $22 for a cut and style as well. They don't have a banner, just a barber pole out front. http://www.bloodandbandages.com/

Didn't see this before I posted - definitely second this. Roger and John(?) are both excellent at their trade and its a great overall experience. Plus there's cold pints next door if you need to wait 10 mins.

Jon used to work @ Blood and Bandages but opened up his own shop in Kensington (Crowsnest) a few months ago. Around $20 for the tightest fade in the city.

Went to Crow's Nest a few weeks ago. Nice laidback, retro vibe. The cold PBR is a nice touch! Getting a haircut every 2-3 weeks won't break the bank. Hopefully, straight razor shaves will be offered soon.

What's the price at Crow's Nest like? Appointment necessary?

was at Blood & Bandages for a cut this morning... had my cut done by the tattoo'd girl, I think her name is Summer (?). Pretty chatty (but not annoyingly so), and a decent cut for $22.

I booked an appointment each time I went to Crow's Nest, however, I had no trouble getting the day/time I wanted. Haircut was $25.
