I tried House or Lords before. Pretty good. Near St. Clair, I think.

What is average price for a decent hair stylist. I usually pay 20 but I dont mind paying more if they can do something with my shaggy hair.

I just looked it up....
They are on Yonge 2 blocks south of Bloor
639 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Z9‎ - (416) 962-1111‎

I say again:

The best is Allegro Hair Design at Yonge and Eglinton. Ask for George and you will not be disappointed.

All the fancy places on Yorkville are so overrated and overpriced. People go there for status reasons as opposed to actually getting the best haircut. Oh I get my haircut at Toni and Guy and then go have lunch at Sassafraz with Bobby De Niro.

2361 YONGE ST , Toronto
Phone: (416) 482-4185

Under 35 bucks. The best.

Second time I have heard that recommendation, I think I might take a look in the next little while.

Rather than start a new one, I thought I'd revive this.

For anyone who posted, do you have curly hair?

My hair is very curly so it's very difficult to do much with my hair, or so I've been told. I'd like to find a place that can actually do something. Unfortunately most barbers and cheap stylist simply don't have experience with men with big curls.

Any recommendations?

terminal has now raised their prices from $20 (tip included) to $22 (tip not included)

I like Mr Van at Van Thi, which is on 4 Wellesley St West, just 5 minutes walk away from Wellesley subway station. Less than $20 for a wash and cut.

Had a couple bad experiences at Coupe Bizarre and prefer more traditional barbershops. This spot is excellent.
