The best way to get blank high quality stationary is to request a sample of the custom papers from Smythson. They will send you a large sample of their various papers and colors for free.

But for me, the small notebook does seem like the better choice. I'm gonna look into that. The other week I was on the subway and a pretty lady was reading a book next to me and she kept bumping into me and saying "Sorry" every time she did. Then on the stop before she left she said: "I'm getting off at the next stop, so you won't have to worry about me bumping into you any more." I messed up that situation by being shy and freezing up and not thinking of anything good to say at the time. I always mess up situations like that when they happen to me. So I figure at least a Visiting Card gives me something easy to attempt & fall back on when I screw up otherwise.
Everyone messes good situations like that up. You shouldve said "Really, then we'll have to arrange for you to be able to bump me again sometime." or "Youd better keep in touch, I need to finish that book of yours."

I like drawing little dashes on a piece of paper with the mobile phone no area code and wheel of fortune style assorted letters of her name, so she can fill in the blanks.
