Ah yes, and a Jantzen update of my own: I submitted a 5 shirt order in July (this was my 4th JT order). Never heard from Ricky and never got my order. Emails went unanswered. Alas, the perils of email ordering from an overworked Hong Kong tailor. I wasn't upset, and in fact used my savings for other, more fulfilling avenues (Borrelli shirts at discount.). In early December, I submitted another order and was dismayed to see that Ricky had fallen victim to the holiday rush. No worries again. I just didn't know whether my order came before or after Ricky's cease-order order (as it were). And then, AND THEN. as if fallen from the sky, an email from Ricky just this weekend. "Your shirt order from 12/4/2004 was lost, but now it is found. Your shirts will go out next (that would be THIS) week." Hurray. Viva Jantzen. Viva Jantzen. I hppe the rest of the world that caused Ricky's backlog and bottleneck (and every other bad operations word) has been put off by Ricky's quirkiness and the patient ones among us can get back to our regular routine or emailing our orders, getting responses/not getting responses, and receiving our orders a month...or two...or sometimes three months later.
