As for your question: I don't usually use cream on shell, just wax. I used cream to color the scratched shell.
LOL!!! Good lord, Teacher; this is really the pot calling the kettle black! From everything I've read on this and the other forum over several years, I would say it's you
who really, really
likes "snipping at people" (as your immediately-preceding post so well illustrates). Can you not understand ("or do you just like snipping at people?") why I added the part about overall protection. As I stated very clearly (at least it seemed clear to me, but perhaps you have a learning disability with the language), my purpose was not to take issue with what you said (and in fact I agreed with the essence of what you said), but rather to reinforce the widely-supported suggestion to use wax, rather than cream, with shell cordovan. To not let this important fact get lost. Get it now? Are you constitutionally unable to read a post without somehow desperately looking for a slight towards yourself? And, by golly, finding one when it doesn't exist? Jeez, get a grip (or maybe some counselling). If you feel an overwhelming rush of emotion to respond to this (as I expect you will, if past performance is any indicator), be my guest. I'm now leaving this thread for good!
