"Classic Americana" streetwear - Page 2

Mens Non no and Huge (along with various japanese sites) are abig influence on my styling of the actual workwear pieces, and for silhuette aswell. Im a big fan of that whole mix that goes as "work" and "outdoors" in japanese mags.

Papoose is the epitome of a certain kind of stealth wealth. A lot of what he wears is NOS or vintage. I'm not sure how he comes by these pieces. Not sure this is really what goblin is talking about, but it's pretty damn cool. I hope he doesn't mind me stalk-posting a few of his WAYWTs.

Docgnar over there also does this style very well. This subcurrent of superfuture is more appealing to me by far than the more obscure designerwear that also gets lots of love.

^agreed, both have a really clean and understated look, but with all the right details and color schemes to make it interesting.

I'm a big fan of workwear, more so the details than silhouette. I'm still in a comfort zone with leaner silhouettes so I'm finding the boxier silhouette of authentic pieces or a brand like EG to not suit my taste right now.

If you need to track down the above mentioned titles Kinokuniya in NYC or LA will ship.

Thanks! ... I'll gradually start tracking some of this stuff down.

EDIT: My post was out of context... mods deleted a spam post promoting carhartt.

Bobo, I dig carhartt as well--I've had a pair of duck workpants since college.
