Quality Hoodies

Ok. I didn't want to do this, but a hoodie thread.
(This is all i could find before)
So, what hoodies do you own?
What hoodies would you want?
What designers do you like that produce hoodies?

I've only heard good things about W+H hoodies.
Also seen alot of spruce hoodies around.
What brands offer different fits? (Slim, classic)
(I've read W+H has classic and slim)
What's a good price to pay for a quality hoodie?
I've read MJK makes nice ones, is there a slim fit available? (18in pit to pit maybe?)

If this isn't enough for it's own thread just let me know, although I feel we need a hoodie thread.

The only hoodie I own is a size M (I'm XS) A&F hoodie that my ex-girlfriend used to own, and she gave it to me. I wear it at night when I'm cold.

A lot of the street brands, such as Rogue Status, have some surprisingly well made hoodies. I'd never wear most of them, though, because they're covered with machine guns and skulls.

But Supreme, Mishka and Staple make good ones that are a little more simple in design but nevertheless are made with quality materials and have nice details and fits.

I got a black hoodie from Staple on sale for around $70.

BTW, you'd be surprised by how good some of the stuff in skate/streetwear shops can be sometimes. One of my favorite pair of khakis is a slim, straight-leg pair from Supreme.

I only have American Apparel hoodies. The Flex Fleece being my favourites and have held up better than the California Fleece ones. Can be had for about $20 on wholesale accounts. Quality wise, they don't compare to the higher end brands as W+H. But you probably wouldn't find a better deal at its wholesale price.

What's the difference between the Flex and California ones?

Any idea where i can find the measurements for those flex fleece sizes? EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.com/F497-AMERICAN-AP...QQcmdZViewItem

If you have the money, get W+H. American Apparel is not even remotely comparable in the flesh. W+H kills other brands in that price range for fit, materials, and DEFINITELY construction/quality.

The Flex is exactly as it says. The fabric feels stretchier and fluffier than the California. So it's much more comfortable for a fitted fit. Though it is a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend compared to the 100% cotton California.

But based on my experience, the polyester probably helped in keeping the shape of the garment. The California fleece shrinks like crazy upon wash and dry. After months of wear and wash, the once fluffy cotton became hard and coarse. The colour also faded pretty badly compared to the flex.

In regards to sizing, seems like each of my AA hoodies have differing measurements. Some quite drastic as being 2 inches shorter than the others. Not exactly a sign of quality control measures. But the Flex seems to run slightly bigger than the California (usually true to size). Depending on how fitted you want to look, you might want to size down on them.

Where does one find such a thing on the internets (other than Steven Alan)? Peasant seems to stock them but the last few times I have checked they haven't had any in stock.

Thanks--I hadn't visited nomad's site before. Since peasant doesn't seem to have any on hand at the moment, I was hoping to find somewhere else with a direct online shop; I'm too lazy to deal with email orders.

I'd like to find a W&H hoodie online as well.

Nomad is an amazing shop, regardless of what some SuFu would like you to believe. In toronto we don't really have many shops with fashion forward fitting streetwear.

I have hoodies by Monarchy and Great China Wall and both brands look and feel great.
