Are those flat waxed laces? Where'd you buy them from?

Afaik, they come stock on all RW GTs. Both my Black Cherry and Black ones have those.

Yep, they are the flat waxed laces that came with the boots.

Has anyone found a polish for their black cherry GT's? Found this but am unsure the exact colour is called "black cherry".

Has the price raised on these? I remember I got mine for $230 or so. Does anybody know who sells them for the cheapest?

I used Meltonian shoe cream. I'll have to go back and check which shade it was for my Black Cherry's.

This stuff is cheap and works well. It's only about $3-4 for the little jar.

Amazon seems to be having a sale on the 9014 Gentleman's Traveler boot. Their pricing dropped from $320 to $242 (shipped free) today for certain size/color combos.

Link to Amazon

They have black and black cherry for these prices. No indication as to whether they will discount the cigar boots.

Note that pricing can vary by size; I plugged in my size (8.0 D) and a few others and still came up with $242 for both black and black cherry. The main product page says price varies from $237.50 - $320.00 so for your size/color combo, the price may vary.

This isn't a stellar price (given previous deals from PapaShoe.com and others) but it's not a bad discount for those looking for a pair immediately.

Very nice! Wonder if I should hunt for matching waxed flat laces for my cigar GT or stick with the contrasting black. Another drastic opinion from a friend is to try on ivory color laces puzzled.gif

Does anyone know of any online shops in North America that have the gentleman traveler or the beckmans in the chestnut colourway?

Please PM me, thank you!

Is the leather in the Beckmans essentially equivalent to the leather in the GTs? Is the Featherstone as good as the Chromexcel leather?
