Justine Henin may be going out on top with plenty of $$, but she probably won't be mentioned in any discussion of the top players of all time.

Yea she only won 7 majors, and made 30 mill just on the tour. Definitely not memorable.

Yeah, but does she not pay tax, get stabbed by a competitor's fan, is a lesbian and/or butt ugly?

I actually recall Wilander quite well. I guess a few of the things that stick out most in my mind is his play at the French Open, and his time on Sweden's Davis cup team. Back in the early to mid 80's, Davis Cup was, and the sport of tennis in general, quite popular. I remember watching the entire 6 1/2 hour epic match in which he lost to McEnroe during the fifth and deciding match of the '82 quarterfinals.

I believe history will look on memorably at Henin's career as well.

Maybe its just me - I never really paid attention to Wilander or Hennin. I may be in the minority though.

I don't really know how you could watch tennis in the past two to three years and not pay attention to Henin. All things considered I see myself as a more casual fan of tennis, but even then I heard plenty of "Henin, Henin, Henin."
