I've been reading this book today, Richman really roasts Paul Bocuse, pretty ballsy considering his pedigree. I really like his style of writing, many people have issues with his style in terms of openly announcing his presence, I think it makes sense not to play games with the restaurant staff but thats just MHO.

yeah, he's certainly my favorite writer at GQ... the book has some of the articles he's published in GQ, along with quite a bit of original material.

Have you read "The Man Who Ate Everything" by Jeffrey Steingarten? He's Vogue's food writer. The guy is hillarious. Anthony Bourdain's books are pretty entertaining as well if you are interested about food/dining.
