When I was at Texas Tech, there were 2 football players who were brothers. There names were Ryan Aycock and Greg Aycock. Since they had the same last night, they were required to put their first initial on their jersey in front of their last names.

Their jerseys would read R. Aycock and G. Aycock. All of the opposing teams' fans would yell out "Gaycock".

That's classic. Reminds me of http://bumpshack.com/2008/01/03/west...ngleberry-duo/

Any of these new names that end with -den are just so offensive to me, especially when given to girls.

EDIT: I just read that "Jayden" was the 18th most popular name in 2007.

Sorry to ressurect, but during a coversation I has this weekend this thread was the first thing I thought of.

I was with a friend who's a teacher, and he had a student in his class named BillClinton - as in, his full name would be "BillClinton Middlename Lastname"

He actually said that there a quite a few kids named after famous politicians in his school - a lower income, DC-area school with a high percentage of foreigners (I think he said mostly African). He also mentioned a kid named Winston Churchill, but I don't recall if that was one word as with the Clinton kid.

I went to interview a friend of my fathers for our marketing project in college. His name: Harry Bush.

My classmate and I kept hitting each other before the interview (a hard slug in the arm) to try and stop laughing. Fortunately we got through it without a giggle.

While I certainly don't mean to complain, my own name is: 1. (essentially) the same name as a very famous and inane comedic actor; AND 2. (again essentially) the same as the villian in a series of horror movies. I don't mind so much, but I do get a little tired of responding to, "Boy, I bet you get a lot of questions about...".
