You have to atleast been on the seen 10-20 years before you can come close to claiming the title.

LOL.. Almost as bad, it think that it makes Laff Taffy sound like a track off of Illmatic.

I like Z-ro. Z-Ro? To proclaim the king I am not qualified, though UGK seems more worthy than TI or Weeeezyy.

I'm not real a fan of post Never Seen a Man Cry Scarface, and I find UGK to be overrated, I do not think either of them are much better than T.I or Wayne. I say Andre 3000 is the King of the South, but he is too fly to say or care.

Then I CC'd every girl that I'd see see round town and
I hate to see y'all frown but I'd rather see her smiling
Wetness all around me, true, but I'm no island
Peninsula maybe, makes no sense I know, crazy
Give up all this pussycats thats in my lap no lookin back
Spaceships dont come equipped with rearview mirrors
They dip as quick as they can
The atmosphere is now ripped
Im so like a *Pimp*, Im glad its night
So the light from the sun would not burn me on my bum
When I shoot the moon high, jump the broom
Like a premie out the womb
My partner yellin "Too soon! Dont do it! Reconsider!
Read some litera - ture on the subject
You sure? F*** it
You know we got your back like chiroprac - tic
If that b**** do you dirty
we'll wipe her a** out as in detergent
Now hurry hurry, go on to the altar
I know you aint a pimp but pimp remember what I taught ya
Keep your heart 3 stacks, keep your heart
Aye, keep your heart 3 stacks, keep your heart
Man, these girls is smart, 3 stacks, these girls is smart
Play your part
Play your part"

I'm the OP and I'm an oldhead. I listened to all that stuff...Outkast, UGK, Triple 6, 8Ball, Project Pat. I'm not trying to hand out a lifetime achievement award here, but rather ask who's the current King of the South.

Actualy I can't get on the UGK is better than Wayne bandwagon either.

Andre 3000 is the best rapper to ever come out of the south.

i'd pick T.I. but only because of the Trap Muzik years. It was a better I'm Serious with refined vocals, lyrics and beats. I still have the cd playing in my car even though i bought it years ago. He really came into his own and had great songs like Rubberband Man and I Still Luv You. Though I do think this album is a classic, unfortunately Urban Legend was a sell out of Trap Muzik, as it basically had the same structure but the songs were more directed to mass population for sales instead of some original dope shit. And still now, he never had a song that was reminiscent of the Trap Muzik that made him blow up to where he is now.

Lil wayne, hit or miss and though he can freestyle his albums seem to be very inconsistent. There would be some songs I like and some I hate, but never liked one whole album. the carter was close though.

I enjoy listening to Dwayne more than UGK, though UGK seems more southern.
