Whenever I go to a bar, I always peel the beer label off of my beers so people don't know what I'm drinking mwink[1].gif Well, maybe not, but I do take my band off as soon as possible.

As for cigar smoking, I find it to be a social activity. I smoke at home by myself more often then not, but I love going to cigar lounges and chilling out with folks watching a game and smoking. I don't see the problem with chatting about cigars and helping others to find good smokes.

I think of cigar smoking a lot like folks think of craft beer drinking. Each cigar is an experience to be enjoyed. It's not an addiction, like you find with cigarettes, it's a passion.

I should do some smoking this weekend - I won't be posting what it was or my thoughts on it.

I smoked a d4, d5 then an upmann 2 last night but I kept to myself because chatting with my buddy about cigars is just plain poserish.

Well done, recent D#4?

I have a packed humi of cigars for tomorrow when Boston undoes the subway ban and I can hold birthday court in a cigar bar. Looking forward to sluts and LGC#3s.

Happy bday p4

Freshie coros smoking nice, spicier than the 08s I've been breaking out

Yes, the band shot was totally on purpose

Only a few posts in this thread mentioned Toscano cigars. Anyway, I like them a lot. They're a bit difficult to find in the US and more expensive there than in Europe, but the cigars are really something special -- they're made with fermented tobacco that undergoes a different curing process that gives them a unique aroma and flavor (as well as a sloppy look).

Worth a try if you can find a US stockist or if you see some while traveling in Europe.

I tried Toscano cigars last time I was in Europe and was really pleasantly surprised. Surprised enough to brig several boxes home (they come in boxes of 2 to 5 normally, although the Antica Riserva come in 8s) to U.S. I have never seen them in a B&M here, but they are fairly widely available online. I have used italiansmokes.com and have had no complaints. They are the perfect cigar when you want something fast and flavorful.
