Cigars - Page 581

Thing is they don't require as much time so they're ready sooner, I'm been buying lots of smaller smokes because sometimes I don't want to commit to a larger one like when I'm out in hollywood so they're like long lasting cigarettes (which they keep me from smoking like last weekend).

You weren't joking about how cheap those PL panetelas are. The ERDM demi-tasse are pretty cheap too. Damn.

And yeah, other than when I go to a lounge and set aside time (everywhere around here you have to buy the cigar there to smoke it. No corkage fee unfortunately, but understandably), I don't really have 1.5+ hours to set aside for smoking. Smaller cigars would be great for every other time. Good look my man.

Been thinking of making my first foray into CC's (been smoking non-CC's for a couple years). Right now I am aware of PE. Any other sites that I should be aware of? I see PE is out of stock on a decent amount of the lower priced sticks I was thinking of trying...

partagas e2 followed by a trini reyes from my package, both very enjoyable and I'm not just saying that

I wouldn't buy a box of either as e2 is bigger than I like but i love most anything partagas so if you give it to me I will smoke it (one of my 3 fav marcas)

trini reyes was surprising and an '11, really nice way to wind down the day so the ra churchill will have to get sparked another day

Puros is pretty inexpensive. There are a few others with better selections, but the prices are much higher. Personally I prefer nicaraguans, and while there are some great cubans, its generally not worth the time/effort for me to get them.

i may also be a little butthurt still that 1/3 of my behiekes were plugged.

Yikes, that is a downer. Was it the 52, 54, or 56? Not that a plug in anything that premium and large gauge should be excused...

Have a couple good things for a powwow tonight, 01 Upmann #2, 02 Upmann Tang Monarch, Partagas Gran Piramide from the 2005 humidor (beast), 80's SLR Serie A. Gonna drive with an 02 Punch Ninfa.

All three were 56. I generally prefer smaller sizes but figured if I was going for Cubans (which frankly I've had less than spectacular results with over the years) larger ring gauges decreased the likelihood of plugs.

Welp...

I bought a box of 52s... So far so good. Smoked through half of it and all of them were perfect. Hope I'm not jinxing myself on the last 5.

it ain't nothin for this guy

Had a superlative sig i from may '10, fuck this thing shits on most bigger sticks it's been getting so good with a little age. Classic cohiba vanilla explosion on second half, was a full hour smoke for me.

So are you saying I should try some of my 09 sig I stock now? They were pretty solid when I got them too.
YES

smaller cigars age quicker I find so shorts, rascc and sig i start getting good after the 2 year mark ime, robustos 3-6, churchills i'm sure 7-10 there's just more fucking tobacco it makes sense

Fuck it, ordered montecarlos and demi tasse. All I need now are half coronas and monte 5s and my small cigar rotation will be complete.

Dude, you're gonna love the rey del mundos! Have you tried the PLPs yet?
