Two active humidification devices controlled by the panel in the top corner.

Looks like the devices are in the bottom of the cabinet. Do you just have to keep them filled with distilled water?

Found a Padron 1926 Maduro in my humidor that hadn't been damaged at some point (inexperience when I first started stocking up lead to quite a few damaged sticks) and decided to have it on the back porch with the rest of a Spanish red I picked up the other day. I have no doubt that the cigar has lost a little something during the times I neglected my humidor, but it has rehydrated beautifully and is smoking very well. The flavor isn't as forward as I'd remembered (due to the treatment, I'm sure), but it's one of the best and least offensive sticks I've had in a while. I'm working hard to keep smoking this thing, despite it quickly becoming too small to hold between my fingers. Heading out of the country later this month, thinking about having a few "special" smokes while I'm there. I usually pick up a Montecristo #2 and a Cohibo robusto of some sort, but very open to any other suggestions on what else I should be looking for. Time will be limited, at best, so I can't see having more than 2-3 while I'm away (and not planning on risking bringing any home).

Camping in the Adirondacks. Five friends, lots of grilled meats, scotch, and a box of Don Pepin's. Bad news: favorite lounge is shutdown. Been going there at least twice a week for almost 3yrs. Rumors are it was a tax evasion sort of thing. Did a drive-by , big orange sticker with the word "Seized" across the door.

Which DPGs Chico? Cigars have had a resurgence at my fraternity house; last year I was the only cigar smoker, and now I can count at least 10 of us that smoke cigars regularly (3 of us that smoke at least one a day). Awesome. Had a DPG blue, Davidoff Maduro R, Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial, BHK 52, CoRo, Trini Robo T, Viaje Satori, and a DL-660 maduro recently. I think today calls for a Mag50 and maybe a Famoso too. Left my Xikar cutter and DuPont lighter at the cigar lounge on monday; called them and hopefully they found them and kept them safe for me. If not, I have another $250 to shell out.

We had DPG cuban classics (black label). I also brought and smoked an Opus X Lost City my Dad gave me, and a La Aroma de Cuba Edition Especial.

I hope you get your cutter and lighter back.

Great cigar day...

Got a nice package compliments of B. Gave a Viaje Holiday to the owner of my favorite cigar bar. He absolutely loved it. Now he is looking into becoming a retailer for them. Mission accomplished. He also gave me two more Davidoff's to try. Bonus!
