Cigars - Page 375

I've got a question related to the discussion about CC shipments being confiscated a few pages back. If you receive a notice that you've violated the Trading With Enemies Act or anything else, do those incidents show up in state/federal employment background checks administered by state DOJ or FBI? Or does the gov't have better things to do than log these incidents?

If to say about my own shopping experience I buy my cigarillos from this online cigarette, cigarillos, and tobacco shop and haven't registered any problems so far. Where do you buy your smokes?

This is the Ramon Allones Gigantes. As you can see, it's gigantic. Unfortunately, unlike its Spanish cousin the Grandes, it's got very little flavour or complexity. Bummer.

They close at 11, or was it on Sunday?

No way! I was in New Orleans last month and walked by the cigar factory at least half a dozen times. I was intrigued but didn't have time to stop on the spot. The last night I was there I decided to head to the factory after supper ... it was closed for the night

J, finally had the 02 lgc you sent man I love small ring gauge cigars that pack more flavor than 52+ gauges.

Nice! I actually bought four boxes of LGC#3's yesterday since they were on fire sale for being made in 2002...they are good all around. The recent LGC jar RE Cuba smoke is apparently phenominal, but I passed @ $700 a jar. Smoking an 04 Esplendido now. Tons of cream in the opening, and smooth. Perfect burn and construction.

It was a pretty tasty stick, but the draw was pretty tight and it didn't burn so lovely.

Jeepers man, is that thing still burning as we speak?

Smoked a Joya de Nicaragua Antano last night. I dislike their mainline brand immensely, bad burn, tight construction. This cigar though, was very nice. Pleasant earthy flavors (I don't do all the leather, coffee beans, and crushed white Indian peppercorns stuff), medium body, terrific construction. You guys ever try one of these?

When you say "fire sale" are you getting them for cheaper than $120-$130 from the "Swiss Warehouse"? I'm wondering whether they put them on sale somewhere else. I think that price is still kinda high.

They don't link them b/c they can't confirm it is really you unless you sign the letter and send it back. Think about it, someone could have ordered the cigars and put in your address.

Thanks. I'm just starting to explore CC's and haven't seen the letter before so I wasn't sure what the deal was. Now I know.

Had a bolivar corona gigante I think it was, quite enjoyable more so than standard bolis it seemed.

Psd4 after, I don't know if I'm getting tired of these or I just haven't had any great ones in awhile or my preference has shifted since I've been spoiled by the cohiba robusto which is probably what I'll end up smoking tonight.
