Cigars - Page 280

I like no. 9s, I just like T-52s more. I'm also not about pepper that much, but I like a little of it, especially in the first third. If I find them, I'll try them. No worries. Also, the 08 V maduros were not as good as the 09s.

^that was my experience also, i bought two 08s and smoked the first which was shit...letting the 2nd one sit and I have about 4 09s left

The single ligero is smooth with some pepper on the back end. It's a I'm just chillin on my patio posted up like a pimp with my cigar type smooth smoke. The longer you let them sit the oilier I get sometimes I just want to eat them.

Smoking an 09 Quai d'Orsay Imperiales (Churchill) with coffee. A little too light for me, even as a morning cigar...sorry to have picked up a box.

Had an 08' Illusione CG:4 with french-pressed coffee this morning. It was surprisingly tasteful; nut and spice were the dominant flavors. I find the marca to be hit or miss. I've had previous sticks that had were entirely bland and not complex. Good draw though. Perhaps they need more rest?

Padron (any line) will be my go to for NC's and for good reason.

Had a Cohiba coronas especiales tonight. Nice, but nothing special- a bit bitter 1/2 way through.....

So I was smoking a San Cristobal torpedo last night on the bench in front of my hotel, when a f*cking homeless guy sits himself down next to me and starts chatting me up, obviously setting me up for the big ask. He tried to shake my hand twice, but the emtpy prescription bottle in his hand put me off of this. For the last third, I had to endure the "where you from", "those are nice socks", "I got a wife who is 4 months pregnant", until I finally stood up to put my cigar out. Totally destroyed the experience, and the worst thing is all the concierge did was stand there and f*cking watch. I mean, I am a generous guy, I donate to charity, and last week I gave a twenty to an older homeless guy who really did seem like he needed it, but come on, leave a guy the fuck alone. I should start carrying my pepper spray when I smoke..

My tobacconist told me today she heard that Cuaba is discontinuing the divinos. Anyone heard anything about this or is it a baseless rumour?

Only 5 packs and 5x5 packs are being discontinued, they will still be available in dress boxes

If I were smarter I would know how to interpret that.

I've never tried them, but figure at that price it is worth a shot.

That is a good price. I like Vintages and the Decade. There is a 15 year coming out this year too.

This isn't a bad deal here either figuring most of those stick are $20+ here. Not a baller travel humi like jet rolls with, but it probably gets the job done.

I was looking at that, but I like the 26 and 64 in maduro and would have preferred at least one of each of those to be a maddie. I have only had the 45 in maduro, so probably would prefer that one in a natural so I could try it like that, as well. I also have no use for that travel humi. All that being said, it is still a phenomenal deal, especially in a high tax state, where something like that would go for ~$250.
