Habanos in Canada are about 10x more expensive

LOL!!! If it was the US he would have probably said he grew up in the US as opposed to "north america" and that would explain his complex towards us with his nationalist remark.

The only reasonably priced cigar I ever bought in Canada was the 07 RE Canada Bolivar Simones, in 50 cab (hermoso #4s). ~$10 each roughly, and it's one of the better regionals I've had. Tobacco taxes make nearly everything unreasonably priced, except for cheap stuff like Partagas PC Especials/Aristocrats.

Enjoying a single ligero oscuro right now, so consistent and smooth and delicious. Have had probably a box or two worth of these and they never fail to impress. Need to actually buy a box next time, highly recommend these ama and bdeuce, either L300 or 400 for a bigger version both great.

I grew up in Canada, but the prices I quoted were web-only. I only mentioned my location in order to demonstrate that NCs were readily available, either online or just across the border, which I used to cross several times a year.

However, I never much liked anything that I tasted (which is perhaps subjective). More objectively, NC prices were prohibitive for cigars that I considered approaching CC-quality. Unlike jet, I wouldn't cut off my nose to spite my face; I could not find inexpensive, tasty NCs despite several attempts made in good faith to acquire some by following online reviews or even the suggestions of members here.

I'm still willing to put my money where my mouth is. If anyone wants me to try a <$10 cigar they own, I'm ready to pay the cost and shipping to France. If anyone knows of an NC website that ships to Europe (never looked into this) which sells an unbeatable cigar for <$10, by all means recommend it. I will order the stick, smoke it, and post my impressions.

Don't laugh, but I had a Tabak Especial Robusto last night. My buddy who is slowly getting into them brought them over last night and I try to tell him what I taste. I has some reservations about this one right off the bat. Not a huge fan of infused smokes, but surprisingly, it wasn't bad. The tip was sweetened, which at first I didn't like, but after 5-6 puffs, the sweetness was gone. The flavor wasn't bad at all. real dark coffee flavor with some spices that almost reminded me a pumpkin pie. The flavor went to coffee and straight tobacco in the middle and end. I want to try a java from DE again, because i think they are similar minus the sweetened tip, which faded. as with most DE sticks, the construction and burn were above average.

I'd never buy a box of them, but it was a nice change of pace cigar than the full bodied powerhouses i've been smoking lately


V, i picked up a couple single ligero oscuros, i think 400. look great. i really like the double ligero, but got a bit strong towards the end, but i blame that on me not having a big dinner before and the cigar being a gigantic 6x60RG.

jet is the biggest big timer there is. just look at his SW&D following. he will kop since those cigars are over 2 years old.
