Had a Romeo y Julieta Robusto with the lady last night after a night out of dinner.

The folks at Updown Cigar in Old Town Chicago were extremely helpful and charismatic.

Definitely catch me back there in the coming Spring/Summer days, it's walking distance from the lake front will make for some pleasant evenings come the warmer weather.

just out of curiousity what do you guys like to do while you smoke?

i always have music with mine,preferably w/o headphones

i feel like it really enhances the smoke session,i see alot of guys read with their stogies or just carry on with their daily routines

Pour a nice big glass of wine or make a manhattan and just sit back and relax

smoked a miranda special selection last night followed by a single ligero oscuro lfd which just further confrimed why it's my go to cigar at the moment...super smooth, rich without being too powerful. A little box time did it some good too, I need to pick up more of these since that was my last.

What is the best way to age a cigar....just leave it in a humidor?

^^^^. humidor is the only way to do it right. @60-70 degrees F and 65% humidity they will last forever.

All the cask strengths I've smoked have turned nasty at the last third. Will not be trying again.

I purchased a box of Ashton Cigarillos. I got them upon recommendation from a guy at Holt's in Philly. They're quite tasty and a bit spicy. It's an interesting progression from when I smoke Nat Sherman MCD lights.

have you tried the A series yet? I've only had a few cask strengths, but they seemed enjoyable.

Based on the reviews, I'm thinking about picking up a box of illusione epernay. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this smoke?

I bought a box of them from CI, for around the price they are asking for them now. Great value, age well.

Oliva master Blends 3 - great cigar, super smooth and produced a ton of smoke. Started off with a little spice, but mellowed out and got leathery and a touch sweet. I liked it a lot.
