This custom roll is from my ex-boss who I got into cigars and he's recently gone crazy on buying boxes. He went to Cuba last year, was just chatting to him on whatsapp just now and we both believe this one is a Jorge Lopez rolled Monsdale. He gave me 3 sticks last year (two of which were this size but different rollers and the mule mixed them up!) I've been holding out so this one is about a year old.Bloody delicious cigar and I'm not even half an inch in.Oh dear I sense the slippery slope with getting into custom rolls now...🙈

I'm probably wrong calling it a Monsdale

They're still called Monsdales! Jorge has rolled them, I believe, since Enrique died.

Make Hoyo DC great again! ('90's blend).

Torsion keeping thread alive!

Yeah, Torsion, enjoying your pictures! Smoked several My Father Le Bijou this weekend, as well as a DP Gracia Cuban Classic and a Padron 1926 for good measure. I rarely smoke CC, but may stock up on my go to (Bolivar) smokes as well as a few others now that it is officially summer..

Sounds like a pretty good weekend! I only had a La Imperiosa by the Crowned Heads (based off the LE Las Calaveras, I have a box of the 2016 on the way) which was great while smoking with my gf's dad who smoked a Arturo Fuente Don Carlos I gifted him along with a dozen other cigars.

Sorry, unclear post...I miss the shit ouf of the '90's Hoyo DC. The one pictured was 07 or 08, I think. They're pretty good, certainly not bad, but if you've tasted the old days, it's hard to not compare. But Epi #2 and DC are great hot summer day cigars, as are modern Quai coronas.

'54 from 2010 today.
