Cigars - Page 705

Fuck the FDA.

Amen. I fully understand the e-cig industry needed some regulation. But cigars are 100% tobacco. Doesn't make sense. Apparently there's an Ag Appropriations bill that has a little pork in it with the purpose of exempting cigars (or maybe just "premium" cigars) from the FDA regulations.

Don't blame the FDA - blame Congress. Also the proposed rule was published 2 years ago, so no one should be really surprised.

Not sure how this will affect me since I mainly smoke CC but I do like heading to B&M stores to pick up NC and seeing the wide range usually on offer.Seems like this regulation is going to put smaller boutique brands out of business which is a damn shame.

I am smoking a Herrera Esteli by Drew Estate right now. The draw is effortless, and the smoke is sublime. Earthy and rich. I smoked a Montecristo Regata last night. It was good. In fact, it was great.

Wow what a cigar. Second one of these I've had, last one was in London in January, don't remember that first one being this good. LUB ABR14 (I think)

Not sure how much of a premium people would ask for them, but if possible I'd look on secondary market for UPE late '13 codes...LUB early '14 is good but the late '13 was OR.

First Mag50 I've tried from a sampler. Not a fan of the size, this one underfilled and draw is a little too open for my liking.Flavours not bad though but not lingering on the aftertaste as I would like.Thinking of smoking another after, either a Liga T52 (not had a non CC for ages) or Monte Petit Edmundo - which one lads?

I went with the LP T52.As I remembered, one dimensional, shit loads of smoke output,if I thought the Mag50 was open draw well this thing is worse!I use a punch these days so it helps (a little!)

I was told that there is something they do to the tobacco for the LPs to get that insane smoke output. Not exactly something artificial but some sort of treatment nonetheless
