Will do. Smoked this shitty Famoso and 80's Churchill, 80's Palmas Grandes, and others yesterday...

Decided to put it in the lid, no sense in adding extra complications.

Just finished upholstering the bottom.

Here's a casework detail that is likely unique to this humidor, IE, I've never seen someone put this into their case;

This looks great, can't wait to see the finished product. Have you made humidors before? I seem to recall you posting something about attempting one a few years back, and wasn't sure if you'd ever finished it, or if this was the first.

Thanks gnatty, I made a series of boxes a few years ago and one of them is a humidor. They took forever because I had someone lacquer them for me and he took about 6 months to do the work.

This one I will French polish by hand with shellac.

I never tried the Selectos Finos so can't make a comparison. I did enjoy the smoke last night and can see this one ageing well although I only bought a 5er to try and unlikely I will buy a box since they're a fair bit of coin and can get a lot of other good smokes in price comparison. Nice looking Lanceros there @Cravate_Noire !!!
Where is the new smoking lounge at Heathrow? Looks like I need to check it out whenever I am back to the sunny Isle lol

Im sorry to disappoint you, but the "BA First Smoking Lounge" was a some sort of joke someone made when sitting in the lounge and taking an image of a cigar he carried - I basically did the same biggrin.gif
Im not even sure if any of BA lounges have general smoking areas...
