True,

They'll have 1 pure sportscar and 3 GT's...unless they decide to produce the Millechili.

I'm still lost as to why they continue to produce both the 612 and the 599, they're not too far removed in performance and power....I thought it would be best to only produce one or the other.

That overlapping look is very current-generation Mercedes SL to me--and I don't like how that car looks either. Makes the car look sinuous at the expense of looking solid and purposeful.

I think the side view on the new GT is far, far worse. I really have no idea what they were thinking with those upper side vents (very caddy CTS, eww) and the way the lines intersect at the door / rear wheel arch.

I when they came out with the 599 I was really surprised because i thought they were going to come out with a mid-engined car, a-la 512M instead. ZJPJ gave me a whole explanation as to why they made the 599 front and not mid-engined, but alas I really didn't buy it.

Here's another link to the "baby" Ferrari, the design is really starting to grow on me, IMO it exudes the typical sexiness of the past Ferrari's.

I completely agree. The 612 is a very compromised design. The 599 GTB is a far more focused car but even that makes exceptions for passanger comfort. The last two pure extreme cars Ferrari produced were the F40 and F50.
