The two button is. I don't see why the 3 button wouldn't be?

You know, I was thinking about this yesterday. In past month, I've bought, I believe, four pairs of shoes--three of them C&J for Polo. Total cost: $1,300, give or take. That's basically a pair of Scaforas. So, am I better off with those four pairs than one pair of bespoke? I really don't know. It's a question that's been weighing on my mind a lot. But part of the point is, these impulse, feeding-frenzy buys do add up.

Secondarily, and I try to explain this to my wife (and to Congress) all the time. It does not follow that because you "afforded" one thing--a pair of bespoke shoes, say--that therefore you can now "afford" some other expensive thing. Unless your funds are practically unlimited, it's far more likely that the reverse is true--I can't afford this pair of shoes now because I "afforded" that last pair. Or those three others since the beginning of April. Or whatever. Anyway.

Understood. Just lobbing grenades for a reaction. I'm fairly new to the shoe sickness, so my wife is fairly new to having to deal with me thinking that every good deal I see is the last good deal that will ever come along. I've done the same thing. The RL / C&J Sheldon from GVH, I just grabbed the black Grants (which might go back), a new pair of shell wingtips from the after Christmas sale at BB still in the box, and I think I 'need' the Tellmans from Yoox. That starts to add up. And I truly do appreciate the distinction between 'can I afford this' / 'can I get the money to make this happen' / 'do I really need to do this' / etc... Unfortunatlely the part of me that thinks I have way more feet than I actually do is winning out more times than not right now.

So, it's a semi-brogue because it has less broguing than a quarter brogue? I'm not sure the math on that adds up...
