I have recently started to enjoy red wine. I have got the bug. Oh boy!!! Studied lots and started a cellar.

I'll enjoy this thread. Want to learn and be inspired.

So, how much storage does everyone have for their wine?
What's the pride and joy of your collection?

False. I believe Grgich is a good find for under $50. I just picked up a case of 2003 Paul Hobbs Cabernet.

Just made a large wine purchase from Frank's in Delaware for a 100-person event:

Dinner red: Thumbprint - 2005 Sonoma cab. I love this wine, but what do I know?
Dinner white: Thea - 2007 Dry Creek Valley Sauvingon Blanc.
Champagne: Bouvet Rose (technically not champagne, but really good stuff at the price point).

The red and white are both small batch wines from family owned vinyards.

And some serviceable wine for the bar:
Bar red: Kelly Creek - Dry Creek Merlot
Bar white: Penny Lane chardonnay

I basically blew through a huge amount of wine at this event -- although inexplicably I have tons of the bubbly left over.
