i like the derby the most because the sheer number of ponies means your payout is so much more. I won a cool $1000 last year

It's definitely a shame. I remember watching Barbaro come up gimp at a packed bar with my girlfriend. I started welling up and had to look out the window like I was watching traffic.

I wish I had a triple crown connection. As it is, I have some connections at some of the tracks here in Florida. I saw Dunkirk race at Gulfstream and do well, but he will surely not do as well tomorrow against I Want Revenge and POTN

Pioneer of the Nile FTW.

Baffert knows the Derby and trains his horses to win. Nuff said.

Plus I think IWR hasn't run enough. Pioneer won't be able to get a Triple Crown (won't get two) but is ready.

POTN is fast, but it will be interesting to see if that translates to a non-synthetic track. With I Want Revenge out, Pioneer is my winner.
