slim dress shirts

Thread Starter
I've been reading this forum for a couple months now. Seems the more I read/learn, the more I can't stand the clothes that I put on every day. This is compounded by the fact that I've recently lost some weight and 3-4 inches off the waist, so everything that fit before are now a bit too big.

The first thing I noticed are my shirts. A lot of my shirts get bunched up around the waist area when tucked in. Before I probably wouldn't have noticed it, but now it's really bothering me. I've seen some threads about tailoring shirts and having darts put in (not sure what that means). Can this be done at just any place that does alterations or does it need to be done by a tailor? Also, what are some brands that make slimmer dress shirts? I recently bought some Hugo slim line shirts on sale and they fit quite well, so something along that line (if anyone is familiar with those). I'm 5'10" and wear 15.5/33 shirts and 31 waist.

Thanks in advance.

Not wrinkle free, but I find RL Black Label to be relatively slim.

If you are looking for something more traditional, try Black Fleece for Brooks Brothers.

I like both JCPenneys Stafford Executive and Lands End wrinkle free athletic fit dress shirts.
