I'm looking for some good places to shop in Houston, TX. Really looking for some good denim and some cool streetwear attire.

its so tough for houston... as big as it is, the selection is terrible. since youre looking for streetwear here are some places that ive come across

afront
tipping point
premium goods
couple of stores in the galleria
i think there's 2 stores that cater to streetwear(mainly shoes) on the northside

there are some others but basically the same as the stores ive mentioned above. you are mostly going to find shoes at these stores. maybe some spots have opened up but i doubt it...

I know. You'd figure for such a big city we would have a lot of options.

Houston is big cause it keeps eating the neighbors.

Me and a few friends were visiting another friend in Texas. We had a free day, had no idea what to do, so we figured we'd explore a city? Which one, Austin or Houston? Well shit, Houston is big, why not? Most boring day of my life. I thought the place was a fucking ghost town. We seriously explored for hours and it was the most utilitarian, 1984-Orwellian place possible. Good luck

Yeah, Austin would have been way better for exploring.

Not to mention you have to drive forever to get anywhere.

The only shopping spot in Houston I visit is the Galleria and even then, it's pretty weak.

There's a Barney's Co-Op in the Galleria, an American Apparel store on Westheimer between Shepherd and Montrose, and not much else.

In defense of Houston, at least we have great bars and restaurants!

What about a good place to get some button downs and polo shirts altered? I have some things I need to get taken in a bit as they fit me a little big.

been to these places there not bad. but drake is a place that should burn down to the ground. pseudo hollywood bullshit. dress code for that place is white male/blazer/boot cut jeans/ DB spiked hair and say bro over 10 times before you get in the door.
