Thanks for the reply. I will look into it. If it's $17 in Manhattan I am guessing it should be around $10ish in the suburbs.

Likely more like $12. Will keep posting my inexpensive/good value wine findings as I seem to drink a bottle or two a week.

Try the 2007 Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel. Spectator gave it a 93, and called it one of the top wines of 2008. ~$25.

Had some good experiances with Pinot Noirs from oregon but I am only 75% sure that the proper vintage was the 2006
