Our server at Dieu de Ciel noticed me taking notes in my moleskin about my beer flight and mentioned the beerfest. Unfortunately my trip ended just before it started. As for Au Pied de Cochon, I had Foie Gras Cromesquis, Plogue à Champlain, and an onion soup of some sort. It was much like French Onion Soup but made with a poultry stock (perhaps duck?) and very sour tasting onions. The soup was good but not quite what I was expecting. Everything else, simply amazing. I really love that place and have nothing but the highest of praise to give. I intend on doing an article on my website covering everything I did in Montreal very soon.

The Place Bonaventure has a luxurious cigar bar overlooking the rooftop pool and gardens.Montecristos is a decent cigar bar, but there are several cigar friendly bars/restaurants on the same street that are not so "cigar-centric" - I just can't remember the name of the street right now.
