You might want to check out your nearest Allen-Edmonds company store for current sales. The store in Cabazon, CA has the Stockbridge rubber soled dress casual split toe on sale for $129 (reg $275) thru Nov. 30. I'm probably going to check it out tomorrow or this weekend. Also, beginning Nov 26 thru Dec 31, the Cabazon store will offer the Seneca, Colton, Concord and Randolph for $179 (reg. $285-295) but they're all leather soled I believe. Hopefully the other AE stores have similar sales going on nationwide.
Can you let me know if you see any good deals and if that store does mail order. Did not see any deals in the NYC store. Thanks.

I don't believe the NYC Allen-Edmonds store is a factory outlet store. As I recall, there is an A-E outlet store just outside NYC that you can doubtless locate on the Allen-Edmonds website. Coincidentally, I just got back from walking my dog in a pair of Stockbridges, and I can attest to their comfort. I think the dressiest rubber-soled lace up A-E makes is the Bergland cap toe. I have a pair that I love, but I don't like the #1 last it's built on as well as some of their other lasts.

I like Paraboot dress shoes with their " Active " rubber soles, also Loake makes nice shoes as well. www.paraboot.com

I'm pretty sure the Cabazon store takes phone orders but will confirm hopefully this weekend.

The A-E Outlet store near NYC is in Riverhead out on Long Island. It might be easier to drive out there and actually try on the shoes rather than deal with my pals at the store in distant Cabazon.

Yes, I agree. The Cabazon store does take phone orders if you need to call them, but I'd have to believe that the Riverhead store has similar Thanksgiving weekend sales going on. I picked up a pair of Stockbridges - very comfortable. The Vibram soled Benton was also on sale for $150.

Grenson does nice rubber sole dress shoes.
If you wear a small size, I believe Bennies Shoes still has a number of rubber soled shoes on sale for $100.

I would go for a pair of Santoni Nuvola's
