Best hair product ever

I keep my hair at a medium length, but it's wavy and difficult to control. If I don't put anything in it, it becomes a puffy afro. I've tried almost everything in the last 10 years looking for something that keeps my hair in place but isn't sticky and still allows me to run my hand through it and fix it when a gust of wind blows in the wrong direction.

I don't know why nobody told me about this stuff before, but it is awesome:

It's a white cream with the viscosity of a moisturizer. It provides a light hold and you can still fix your hair if it gets really messed up because you can actually put your hands through it. It's expensive as hell at $30 for a piddly 75ml, but it's totally worth it imo. If anyone else has problems finding a product they actually like, I'd encourage them to try it. Oh, and it smells kinda nice too. :P

I use something similiar by Aveda that's basically the only thing I can use in my hair because it's so light and fine. It's a bit cheaper than your's: http://www.aveda.com/templates/produ...CT_ID=PROD5932

Bumble and Bumble grooming creme is good also.

That sounds similar to kieh's creme with silk groom...it's basically a leave-in conditioner that has slight styling and pre-styling properties. It's also a bit cheaper at ~17 bucks for a 4oz bottle.

i'll keep an eye out for your fancy kerestase paste. i have hair similar to what you describe. must agree with Half Honky and others from addl hair threads about the merit of Kiehl's grooming creme. I think a lot of Kiehl's is iffy but the grooming creme is brilliant.

I used to (when I had slightly longer hair) swear by aquage transforming paste, which sounds very similar to what you are describing although maybe a tiny bit thicker. it always worked great and costs less. it is best if you really work it in your hands to heat it up and thin it out a bit and get worked through all of the hair.

I use D:Fi Destruct. It works great as a base layer of product, and is fine on it's own. http://www.powderpuff.net/acatalog/d...or_8_150g.html

I use MOP Finishing Paste. I have thick wavy hair. When my hair is somewhat short it works amazingly well. When it grows out a bit, it gets a bit harder to style it so i might try that Kerastase product you suggested. http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Organic.../dp/B000PBWJGC

I use something similar from Redken, it's pretty good and quite a bit cheaper.

... but never using Kerastase, I could be missing something.
