Where did you work at the age of 18 during the last semester of high school? I want some ideas.

I worked at domino's for awhile. That sucked. Then, I started tutoring math and reading. Tutoring is seriously the best thing ever, if you can teach.

I was a lifeguard. At the time it was one of the best paying jobs for the least amount of work.

+1 on lifeguard. Hotels are better than public pools generally.

I worked at Bruster's doing everything imaginable. during the week i'd service ice cream and be a shift leader and on the weekends I'd make the ice cream. I was working as many hours as they'd let me and there were plenty of paychecks in highschool where I got overtime.

I'm not 18 yet, but if I have my way I will still be working with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's customer service department. Pay is excellent, I choose my hours, and I love what I do, it works for me.

I pumped gas at a local Mobil station. The summer after I graduated high school I got a job driving an ice cream truck.

I worked lightly at a KFC. Didn't have time for the most part between 4 sports. Then I started workin in the shop of a trucking company and after 2 summers and 1 winter, now I'm an office pencil pusher at the same company.
