Les copains or lacroix?

I have noticed a fair number of Christian Lacroix and Les Copains ties on e-bay lately. Anyone familiar with ties by these designers (or the designers themselves)? I like a couple I have seen up for auction but have never seen one in person. Are they of decent quality? Are they heavy or light (thick or thin)? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a few ties from both labels. My Les Copains ties are cashmere, and I love them. I'm a big fan of this label in general - their casual wear is among my favorites. The ties are nice, thick woolens. The Lacroix ties I would describe more as hip than nice. Progressive patterns and textures.

Lacroix ties are not first-rank, like Kiton, but they are well made and can come with very interesting designs. If you see a pattern you like, and the price is right, I would go for it. Les Copains is known for their knitware; I have no knowledge of their ties.
