Mister Freedom by Sugar Cane (TOYO) - Page 21

FIT QUESTION: I've been checking out this Mallory on eBay. Does anyone know if the size 50 equates to a size 40?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXTREME-LIMITED-NIGEL-CABOURN-BROWN-MALLORY-JACKET-SIZE-50-FW-2011-NO-RESERVE-/251358458313?pt=US_CSA_MC_Outerwear&hash=item3a8621b1c9

Thanks!

Mister Freedom Californian Jeans & "El Americano" Indigo-Dyed Jacket

Two new items are here from Mister Freedom's 2013 winter collection.

First up we have the newest iteration of his popular "Californian" jean series. This time made of Sugar Cane's '66 denim in a traditional mid-rise jean with a little taper below the knee; cut and sewn in the USA.

Next up we've got the piece we were most excited about from the new collection, the Indigo-Dyed Cord Jacket with a Troy blanket lining. This is a 14.5oz mid-wale corduroy which has been indigo vat-dyed, custom made for Mister Freedom by Sugar Cane. Jacket comes complete with carved corozo nut buttons, flared wrist cuffs, and adjustable side cinches.

Both of these items along with a full restock of all colors of blank Mister Freedom tees are available now at all stores and in our online store.

Beautiful jacket. I'm assuming that the sleeves are lined with that striped twill instead of the blanket lining, right? Also is the wool blanket lining itchy at all?

Yup, sleeves are lined with that striped twill you see next to the cuff. The blanket isn't itchy at all, it's quite soft.

This is clearly a [very] long shot but if anyone knows of an MFSC N-1H Deck Jacket in XXL/44, I'd love to find one. MF's ecomm site listed XS and XXL as in stock this week so I immediately added it to cart. I received an error of course when trying to check out. Wishful thinking...

I've been having a look and a feel of these at various shops in Tokyo and I would agree. These jackets are excellent, and in fact everything in the new range is superbly made and has incredible attention to detail. I am currently trying to resist...

Mister Freedom Indian Madras Summer Shirts & Lot 64 Californian Jeans

We've received the first shipment of Mister Freedom's 2014 collection in the form of an Indian Madras shirt and a new version of their popular "Californian" series of jeans.

The madras shirt is a perfect summer weight fabric that breathes well with all the details you'd expect from Mister Freedom including custom cast buttons, chainstitch side seam run-off, shoulder pleat accents, and a great fit.

The new version of the Californian jean brings a slightly modified fit and the details throughout the jean have been changed including a cool new "patch". These have turned into a staple for us at the shops, they're great fitting jeans with Mister Freedom's iconic accents.

The madras shirts and denim jeans are available now at all Self Edge stores and in our online store. Check the online store for full measurements, spec lists, and high-res photographs.

Does anyone know what the sizing is like on the yellow watchman jacket?

http://www.misterfreedom.com/watchman-jacket-raft-yellow.html

It looks like I should be sizing down based on the sizing chart. I'm typically between a small and medium. I wear a 48 in Nigel Cabourn jackets and a medium in a Barbour commander and most other jackets. Based on the shoulder measurements and chest, it looks like a small would fit me better.

Mister Freedom's Okinawa CPO Shirt & The Sugar Cane 2014 Slim Tapered Jean

We've got two new items from Toyo Enterprises today, both of which have been long overdue for us...

Mister Freedom has done a new version of his legendary denim CPO shirt which originally came out as part of the Fall/Winter collection of 2008. This new version uses a different unsanforized denim and includes some very nice detailing on the placket and pockets. Once sold out these will not be restocked.

Sugar Cane brings us their slimmest fit in their line-up with the new "2014" jean, made of a one-washed unsanforized denim which we've been selling on their "2009" jean for a few years. This fabric starts off comfortable from day one and ages well over time due to it's unsanforized nature and pure indigo-dyed warp yarns.

I got the CPO shirt in an XL and it's shrinks down about a whole size when soaked.

I also got the Map Shirt in MN Twill in a size Large, wonderful shirt but shrinkage was a bit more than expected so I am going to size up.
