Mister Freedom by Sugar Cane (TOYO) - Page 12

There are a few guys over on superfuture who have them. You'd be much better off asking there.

Did anyone here pick up the denim peacoat (I'm looking at you zissou )?

Looking at the photos, I can only imagine how nice they must be in person.

Yup, I have it I bought the Liberty Issue version of it from Self Edge. It's lined with wool blanket and warm as hell. It was actually the piece that got me hooked on MF.

Nice, I look forward to seeing a waywt fit of it in the coming months.

I'll be sure to! I bought it last Nov, but for some reason didn't post any WAYWTs...

Seeing as that I can't afford a buzz rickson or mister freedom anything, I drool over those 13 star anchor buttons with sad envy. Does anyone happen to know a source for those buttons?
I am guessing that TOYO is reproducing them, as I beleive they make the peacoats for both companies. You could try contacting Buzz Rickson (History Preservation) to see if they'd sell you some. Actual vintage buttons could possibly be found at surplus stores or Ebay. I've found (and bought) one in the past.

Isn't Self Edge getting that tan denim soon?
The SExT11? That's a khaki jungle cloth, which I believe is the same jungle cloth that TOYO used to make the Mister Freedom deck pants. I could be wrong, though. I'm very interested in seeing more of the SExT11.

that's what I meant.

Picked up the Mulholland Master Jacket yesterday at Self Edge NYC. In a word: awesome. The fabrication is amazing, weight perfect and hardware incredible.

Pics soon.

^Cool. Are you posting over on superfuture, too? If not, you should.

The Mister Freedom Mulholland Master Jacket is finally here...
We've also received a full restock of the Mechanic's Crews and Rider's Dungarees (which have turned out to easily be the best selling MF jeans yet):

You soaked the wool?! Any negative results from that due to it being mated to the denim?

Seems to me the peacoat was doing just fine on it's own in that 'fit pic'...

Had a chat with the gent at History Pres about those jungle cloth trousers while ordering a jacket. He shared some interesting info about the design and the efforts that went into them by SE (Kiya). I'm totally in line for those.

Zissou - did you see the coming attraction shots of those posted here a while back?
