so sad that most still couldn't commit to this.

I don't like onions on my foie gras. They are, however, divine with some lightly dill cured salmon on buttered black bread.

The lack of exercise is probably a health issue but 30 minutes of exercise a day is not going to solve the obesity problem, especially if it encourages more eating because of the stimulation of metabolism.

true. I was thinking more for people I actually know. I'm honestly sometimes flabbergasted by the 30% obesity rate because I barely ever see obese people. Guess they are all in the midwest.

Still for your average person in their 20s or 30s, 30 minutes of exercise would really go a long way.

Yes, but that plus eating well. People forget that one without the other is for the most part, a lost cause.

And here I was, thinking you just ate shit. Who would've thought!

I think it is a HUGE mistake that in modern America we act like food is purely about nutrition. Food is a lot more than that, or should be. It should be an aspect of life we indulge in and appreciate the varieties and strive for the quality. Yes, health is a big concern, but it can't be the only one.

Lets not sit here and debate whether we're "living right" or not by choosing to eat right. That's as bad as debating 3 or 5-6 meals a day. "Eating well" doesn't do me much good if I'm on the porcelain throne for 30 minutes after dinner, because the meal was made with half a stick of butter.
